Work Venting
I vetted and talked with literally 20 different development groups to find 3 good potential fits for an upcoming project; one is too expensive, one dropped the ball in a seriously bad way and one was perfect in every way with a quoted price that's half of my best expectations AND they've worked with our company before with rave reviews.
Feedback from my team: "I don't like just picking from a pool of one. Can't we get some other dev groups to compare against?

@mawr SUCCESS!! This was a pain. The 3.5mm female audio jack is stereo, and the mic is mono, and the wires are super super thin and braided together. D:
I Converted the stereo 3.5mm jack to mono, then carefully got the thing soldered together.
Once together, a 4 post 3.5mm splitter to mic and headphones, manage the cables, then use a 4 post 3.5mm cable to plug into any compatible device. Voi la! Headset!
I wasn't as granular on this because this was a lot more frustrating. XD
@mawr After taking some time to practice with the female 3.5mm jacks, it's time for part 2.
I'm nervous about this one, wish me luck!
