re: Food (drink), meds
Was trying to remember other sour (sour-bitter, anyway) alternatives, and
Brain: "Quinoa Juice!"
Like.. I can see how you got there (Quinine is the sour-bitter component of Tonic Water), but.. No. Definitely not drinking 'Quinoa Juice'
Though I'm sure I could sell the idea to a startup and someone would
@theoutrider ahhh, adorable

"Why do I even say 'why this' anyway? How did that become a standard part of my vocabulary?"

re: Food / games
@Doggo Have you tried "Cook, Serve, Delicious!"? It's a (very) fast/hectic one of the latter-sort, putting together food (and other restaurant tasks) while taking orders.
Is quite old by game/sale-pricing standards now (and wasn't particularly expensive to start with iirc), so should be easy to find a deal on somewhere if it seems like it'd appeal.
@Doggo This sounds like an A+ plan!
re: food (joking, ~)
Huh, I did not realise part of the traditional Chicken Tikka marinade was dahi (kinda yoghurt?).
I think British takeaways have probably skewed my expectations somewhat.
re: food (joking, ~) on a less weird note
@Doggo your shroomdogs were far more adorable than Sainsbury's
Like, 900% more adorable at least
food (joking, ~)
Okay but
How does "Vegetable Tikka Masala" work
Surely Vegetable Tikka would just be vegetables roasted on a kebab stick*.
Truly an etymological food-shopping crisis to rival The Shroomdog Incident in its ramifications
Vegetarian food seems to cause a lot of those.
(* Bits with no bones in, but most vegetables are polite enough not to grow any in the first place)
