@extinctsnakes@mastodon.social I can recommend my vape if that helps any; it does make visible vapor but it's not like a "leet trixxx hi-temp v8p3" thing, it just.. heats stuff up so you can inhale it, and works, is reasonably priced & hasn't broken on us.

(A lot of the amt of/visibility of exhalation also depends on what you wanna vape, mind- Different liquids make more/less clouds)

I found more naan bread, yessss

NY accidentally threw some from takeout away b/c tired, and I went to eat it later & found it & was I just

"No..? Naan is in bin. This is tragedy! I want naan. Naan does not belong in bin."

But there was a half-piece of naan hiding w/ the falaffel we were saving for today <3

Takeouts can v. easily win my heart by just heaping tonnes of naan bread onto an order, I have yet to find a type of naan I don't like

My own bug phobias are p.specific categories- it didn't trigger me, I'm fine. I'm also like, happy to answer any q's on this stuff via DM or Discord if that'd help.

@chr@cybre.space I think a problem with the "find admins you trust" thing to new users is:

It assumes they have the social network of some degree in the fediverse already. But if they're new.. They probably don't know any admins, or people who know them well.

If yr not swimming in the fediverse social pools already, it's a trust-fall w/ strangers you don't know, based on their non-private posts, the CoC & random users' feedback you can scratch together asking around.

It took a lot of research, planning, effort, exhaustion & money.. But it's gonna be such a big, positive change to life, being able to do so much more stuff, more of the time, with less pain & effort.

No more sensory overload from laptop fan struggling and burning out its lifespan at being primary-computer.

This.. It's gonna be a big, positive impact on our lives.

It took moving our entire desk, deskchair & PC into the living room, buying an adjustable monitor arm and a monitor that's VESA-mounting compatible (turns out ours isn't)

But by tomorrow we should finally have an accessible PC setup that we can use from propped up bed position.

I've had phobias of various microfauna, (I still do of certain ones).

From the tone & presentation this lady ain't talking about that;- she's using "phobia" to mean "makes me feel kinda uncomfortable cuz social conditioning and/or not understanding a thing"
