Overwatch League Newbie Thoughts
The Octopus Zenyetta skin actually got me into watching the OWL
So, points to whichever marketing psychologist concocted that evil scheme, I guess
But watching the OWL has only reinforced my feelings that snipers make Overwatch drastically more boring
I swear half the cast of any given match is taken up by watching Widowmakers and Hanzos trying to plink headshots
But the rest is good/entertaining? Nice to see Winston & Zarya being so key to things, and Wrecking Ball has a great mix of abilities mechanically and visually.
Support roles need more screentime, but that never, ever changes.

Ahhh this is is fantastic
my imagining of it was on a completely different track, it's interesting to see yours!
(also this is 100% relatable ;w; )
That time when Tumblr set 'End of Evangelion' to the subtitle track from 'Bee Movie'

Food, Coffee, Idle Musings
I am one of those weird "drinks coffee for the flavour" people
I'm p.much immune to the stimulant effect, but it tastes.. Nice? When it's done right
Which to me is like
A triple espresso with lots of brown sugar
Terra Ignota abstract spoilers
bf has finished Too Like the Lightning and immediately started Seven Surrenders~
I am left making many "MmmmmMMMMMNNNNMmmmmnnn spoilers" noises in responses to his questions and theories
Also bonding over an entire setting full of Problematic Faves
Also he hasn't gotten to the sharks eating bananas yet
Or Apollo Mojave's dark secret being "He was a massive weeb"
Or Imaginary Thomas Hobbes barging in and arguing with the reader and narrator
Sharks. Eating. Bananas.
Okay I'm done
Often when I try to compose anything EDM it drifts towards sounding like the PSX Ghost in the Shell game soundtrack with worrying frequency
I was like, 8-10 when I played that.. o.o
It's still a good minimalist techno OST that I keep around, mind. It's just not the kinda thing that I usually listen to or aim for, so it's kinda funny.
Rereading some George Luis Borges and I completely forgot about so many of these stories
The Zahir, The Library of Babel, The Immortal, The Theologians, *The Zahir but again for emphasis*..
I am both grateful and disappointed that I live in a universe where 'Lovecraftian' done to death, and Borges left relatively untouched. He does existential horror so much better.
This is a graffiti-free zone.
Vandals will be ~PASTELBAT~
