@VoxSomniator @daylight when you die you're either sent to rhythm heaven or bullet hell
I would "toss and turn for horus" brain but like, idk why he'd want me to not get any sleep, and what would I get out of the deal anyway
@extinctsnakes@mastodon.social the 'big cloud' brands tend to run thick, too; they have wider barrels (so that + the higher temp means you inhale more at once)
So generally if something's big & bulky it's probably for showing off like that, with a high voltage core and large diameter inhalation. tube- Pen sized ones will have less emmissions simply by not having that hi-voltage & wide-diameter breathing tube capacity
@extinctsnakes@mastodon.social generally not holding down the button so long/not taking deep inhalations will result in less visible vapor, also
Like, those guys with the huge clouds have v. high temperature cores, and inhale a lot at once
So just taking shallow pulls is gonna help a lot too
@extinctsnakes@mastodon.social I can recommend my vape if that helps any; it does make visible vapor but it's not like a "leet trixxx hi-temp v8p3" thing, it just.. heats stuff up so you can inhale it, and works, is reasonably priced & hasn't broken on us.
(A lot of the amt of/visibility of exhalation also depends on what you wanna vape, mind- Different liquids make more/less clouds)
Important reminder:
Rats giggle when they play together or get tickles
Food
I found more naan bread, yessss
NY accidentally threw some from takeout away b/c tired, and I went to eat it later & found it & was I just
"No..? Naan is in bin. This is tragedy! I want naan. Naan does not belong in bin."
But there was a half-piece of naan hiding w/ the falaffel we were saving for today <3
Takeouts can v. easily win my heart by just heaping tonnes of naan bread onto an order, I have yet to find a type of naan I don't like
(tho slathering peshwari w/ HFCSyrup is *wrong*)
It took a lot of research, planning, effort, exhaustion & money.. But it's gonna be such a big, positive change to life, being able to do so much more stuff, more of the time, with less pain & effort.
No more sensory overload from laptop fan struggling and burning out its lifespan at being primary-computer.
This.. It's gonna be a big, positive impact on our lives.
@pastelbat tbh I like the idea of an Earth with humans but we have dinosaurs taking the niche of birds and land animals.
Ppl wake up and hear the small garden pterosaurs tweeting. And put out dried insects for them.
Lots of people have pet velociraptors and they come in many different breeds. Varying in feathers and body size.
Omelets are quite popular given there’s a supply of huge dinosaur eggs.
Trained dinos pick fruit off trees.
I also like fantasy settings where dinosaurs are just like
Part of things, not notable, not even like.. A category?
Like the main herbivore dinosaurs in MH are clearly based on hadrosaurs, and that just goes uncommented (as with the rest of the macrofauna, they're just.. Part of "yep thats life" in the setting)
But the best one for this is Usagi Yojimbo I think, with all the little "long-necked compsognathus-y things" that are just like, chill lil backgorund animal pals
Like just
I don't even like the kinda 40s-50s pulp comic-art it draws a lot from, or 1950s car Americana, or post-apoc settings (tho it's less 'Woe, life is bad after The Collapse, now go fetch me 10x radzombie pelts'
and more "That was so long ago it's become mythology, but some of the tech is useful if you can use it"
Kinda like Caves of Qud or Book of the New Sun.. (not 2 things I ever thought I'd link to short-lived 90s environmental cartoons)
Sometimes I have to remind myself that Cadillacs & Dinosaurs was not only a thing that existed, but a comic franchise that sold well enough to become a cartoon & get a (fairly good!) arcade game spinoff
Like, this is one of those times where our "Pfff your paleoart is weak"-brain is 100% in Sleep Mode, half out of nostalgia, half because of how ridiculously OTT the setting was anyway
This is a graffiti-free zone.
Vandals will be ~PASTELBAT~
