Hey so, there's been a bit of a kerfuffle with Patreon lately after a terms of service change that threatens all sex workers
There's now an open letter to Patreon to please not do that http://www.openlettertopatreon.com/
The idea of folks losing their livelihood overnight for reasons I cannot see as justified is terrifying, and there's no Patreon alternative either.
I know this is kind of a long shot, but if anyone has a friend of a friend or anything that's an 01 or 02 journeyman electrician looking for work in the greater Seattle area, my company really need one and seems like a great place to work.

idk i feel like poststructualism is a really important part of how I understand the world but I actually haven't read a lot in the way of primary texts and I wonder if I should feel awkward about that.
The core postructuralist idea that meaning is constructed and negotiated rather than being inherent *is not* the same as saying that nothing actually means anything. What it's saying is that meaning isn't a property *of* objects or ideas.
