@shoofle heads up, the UI and basic mechanics can be a bit hard to understand at first but once you get past that yeah it's really rewarding.
Playing ED is making the scale of the galaxy start to sink in just a little and it feels terrifying.

I'm still going on about Elite Dangerous

"The History of Beagle Point" hopefully gives some sense of why I love exploration in Elite Dangerous.

Heck. EDD Discovery is third-party software that reads log files from the game and gives a complete history of everywhere you've been, including scan info.
