@KawaSeadrake FLUFFIEST DRAGON.
I feel like "100 billion kelvin" is probably so hot that our normal understanding of what temperature is doesn't really apply anymore.
Okay making this joke prompted me to re-read the wikipedia page, and there's something new to me:
The initial temperature of a neutron star is ~100 BILLION kelvin. It rapidly cools down with the energy going into a preposterous outflux of neutrinos. A lot of the energy of a released by a supernova is those neutrinos interacting with and heating the surrounding gas.
Woah!
@CoronaCoreanici I'm proud of myself!
Serious answer from me, from about a year ago: when I dropped out of the application process for the union electrician apprenticeship because I was feeling hurt and frustrated and didn't want to ask for any more time off of my job (which I quit like a month and a half later).
@Azure waiting for consciousness to correctly instantiate is one of the weirdest feelings.
@Azure wait what is this about?
