@ctrlaltdog@chitter.xyz i think that, after getting the go-ahead that things are cool, whatever pace you're comfortable with is the best option..!

but also, if you want to do more things in general, but also have unwanted pushback in your mind with no discernable external factors, that also means that you're uncomfortable with taking it slow as slow as you are, and you can use that as a justification to push yourself forward

i do this with a lot of things, because i'm super-anxious about a lot ^^'

something just occurred to me; it's been three days since i started trying to get up early every day...and i've been tired exactly *none* of these days!!

i haven't even been particularly strict with my bedtime routine, but this has never happened before, is making this early morning habit really going to be this easy for me this time??

that is, of course, if you choose to do that

there's no law that says you ever need to stop enjoying sitting on fluffy cloud-like underwear with cute prints all day

abdl, slightly gross

you know, it just dawned on me that the best way to explain how diapers feel to wear is to explain that the inside of them is made from the same material as orbeez, except their default state is basically cotton

so, nice ones feel like sitting on a cute, soft cloud by default, and even if you *do* use them, they're mostly just a weird sensory experience that also stops anything gross from touching anything, so the end result is a little gross, but a lot less than you'd think

@KitRedgrave hee, i'm actually reading that right now!

and you're right, it's an extremely interesting outlook

@KitRedgrave i've recently started noticing an increasing number of personal problems that i'm not even sure exist

like, laziness seems to just be a label people give others when they're judging them for not having the same priorities as them, or something peeps self-flagellate with when they feel guilty--it's seldom because those people aren't actually doing anything

…and if they aren't, that's called executive dysfunction, which *also* isn't laziness; it's even something that can be treated!

just saw the most mind-bending idea

punishment is what we do when we have no other idea how to solve a social problem

@monorail that's so cool!

it never occurred to me that they could be used like that

@monorail woah

are they like, running decision tree board scoring functions and letting you see the results of it on a turn by turn graph??

because that's wild

@codl hee, don't worry, i wasn't trying to poke holes--i was just being silly ^^'

@codl might fuck around and follow a celestial body to a newborn i'll give this myrrh to

@monorail hee. i love little bash tweaks like this

incidentally, have you heard of pokemonsay?
