@VDoesntKnow this makes me think of like, how in battletech things absolutely get annihilated over time, so now you need to pick what era you are playing in so that your rasalhague-based mercenary company makes sense or whatever

StreetPass is a cool new browser extension that uses Mastodon's verification system in a clever way.
Mastodon users verify themselves by adding a custom link to their personal site. StreetPass lets you know when you've found one of these links, and adds them to your list. As you browse the web, StreetPass will build a list of Mastodon users that belong to the websites you visit.

i mostly just wanted to point out the immediate tangible benefits it would have for some people who actually exist, even if there are a few funky bits about its vibe and prerequisite privilege~
removing barriers for the marginalized to escape oppression will always be a good thing

though i know specific people who were actually very recently looking to see if this was even an option for them because of how things are going in the places around them
tl;dr - the process was...not great, and the petition would be granting that option to people like that outside of literally making your case in front of a court of people who may or may not be transphobic

I encourage any of my fellow Canadians on the Fediverse to sign this petition. Including, and especially if you currently live in the States. We have a relatively easy option if the US goes sideways, many of our siblings do not.
If you are not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, please boost but do not sign, thank you.
@SirTapTap@mastodon.social there are instances that federate with mastosoc that have slower federated timelines (like awoo!)
...though it's also possible there are people who use regex filters to watch for certain topics on federated posts ^^'

i still like the simple sound of just piano! it has kind of a charming quality in its simplicity, i feel ^^
fun fact! i actually made another version of rainbow resort from kirby's adventure besides the one i have posted!
