@m455 ooh! i've...never really thought about it that way before! but that's mostly because my own minimalism was always sourced in making my own scarcity more comfortable aesthetically
i think this is why i would always gravitate towards having the few things i did use be incredibly versatile, because even if i couldn't do everything well, at least i could at all
but that's also super-detached from having…minimal needs, which i guess a lot of minimalism comes from too?
@SomeEgrets@meow.social oh! i usually use a "selected data" node feeding into a "read" which in turn feeds into the rgb8 visualizer as a quick and dirty "does this data even make sense" visually
but to do a more complex actual render, you can use the pattern language to make an array of rgb8 pixels, and either passing that into the data visualiser as an out
variable, or adding it into the data tree with a [[hex::visualize("bitmap", yourdata, width, height)]]

@lyncia cool! that one is pretty good at encouraging developing study habits
(i think their japanese course may be the biggest one they have?)
@lyncia のむ!
@lyncia oh! the start can be kinda tricky, but you've got this..! (also, also, whatcha studying with?)
also, if you wanted to practice, feel free to hit me with whatcha got, and i can reply in kind~
it's okay to be at any level, and every little bit you get better absolutely rules! so having a way to casually test out new things can be really handy
(but only if you want to, of course~)

@lyncia ooh! how much japanese have you learned?
i think it could be neat to talk to each other (in japanese) for practice~
@lyncia おお!どのくらい日本語を習ったの?
練習ために、一緒に喋る事が良いだと思いますね~
@cinnamon i see no problem here
i like to shift the hue of my shadows, but this is the first time i've completely abandoned the original color in something like this i think?
in this one, i tried to experiment with the shading a bunch! so the shadows in here are actually completely different colors than what they were~
for example, did you notice the shadowed part of jirachi's head doesn't even have yellow in it? it's purple!
also, the shadows for anything white are actually just light blue..!
and yet, i don't think they look out of place at all!
@monorail the metroidbrainia duo~
outer wilds spoilers, not looking for hints thank you
@monorail i remember seeing you go through this, and gossssh
hints are spoilers in a game like this, and discovering what you don't know is the essence of what makes outer wilds what it is, but still, it can definitely feel like this sometimes
i actually love looking at the times i felt this way retrospectively though; now with the knowledge of just how close i was to totally wild things the entire time without realizing it!
oh hi! i do computers, and sometimes draw stuff~ i like lo-fi things and cute aesthetics!
i also probably like you
(also, tagged #abdl ahead, soooo 🔞)
