i actually already knew that, but i decided somewhere along the way that mentioning things that might not ever get completed was just setting others up for disappointment

but on the flipside, seeing interest in things i do is motivation, and having it out there is more motivation on top of that!

hm, maybe come new year, i'll have to shake things up a bit!

it's kinda strange how i use masto like a staging area for thoughts

i felt like i kinda painted myself into a corner with most of my social media where i don't do anything except post stuff that i spent a lot of effort on

but i'm noticing that it seems like the idle thoughts along the way are far more interesting than just having a general "list of things i've done"

going back and trying to write Common Lisp really makes me appreciate how simplified Clojure made a lot of things

like, with-slots, destructuring-bind, multiple-value-bind, let, and let* in Common Lisp all can be handled with Clojure's let macro

heck, Clojure vectors basically remove half of the reasons why you'd ever want to quasiquote (especially outside of a macro)

huh, neat

gboard's glide typing randomly decided to break on me, and clearing its learned words fixed it

i really wanna know what word did that for, uh, experimentation reasons

i was worried this was gonna get a lot larger than this, because sai has a not-so-nice habit of randomly failing when you make a file too big

i...might be done!

i should draw more things with backgrounds because i am really not good at it

more progress!

now i'm experimenting with colors, and trying my hardest to make a compelling background

there's still a lot i should do, but it's pretty hard when i have no idea what i'm doing

ah yes, so that's how you do it...

a labor day story

me: wow! i don't even feel tired, maybe i won't waste m
*wakes up at 1:30*
me: ah

huh! it seems as if i can't actually dismiss these notifications if my language is set to en-xx

i wonder what's happening internally if a localization breaks functionality like that?

it even started with a long weekend!

this month is already pretty good!

i recycle the things i make A Lot

largely because it's still so weird to me that i can just *think* visual things into existence

before this, i had to stretch what i got a looong way

i've found the perfect place for this while i see if i can pull off a compelling background!
