i love the idea of just going nuts on the topics i like, and i keep convincing myself i'm gonna do that
but i always seem to fall back to turtling once again

it's possible that being hyper-interested in things people surrounding me weren't caused me to internalize that passion is bad, actually
but spaces like the ones i'm worried about are largely opt-in
as for the characters? they may be generic, but they aren't based on anything!
i just wanted to draw in a TDM style, a thing that i like quite a lot
TDM is basically a japanese mascot style kemono with an extremely large head, often very stumpy legs, and a body that's tapered enough that it's basically a triangle
jirachi and the lake trio from pokemon are other examples of TDM

it's the pico-8 philosophy for limiting my ambitions when i draw--because i wanna draw more! and i would love if the pressure to do that was minimized somewhat
drawing on something like this forces me to not overinvest my energy into each thing i draw--a bad habit i have
oh hi! i do computers, and sometimes draw stuff~ i like lo-fi things and cute aesthetics!
i also probably like you
