* lead singer of black dresses wrote a song about her experiences with child sexual abuse
* song blew up on tiktok, teenagers make horny lipsync videos in cosplay and all that
* these same teenagers then cancelled the band over the lyrics and the lead singer posting about sex on instagram now that she's all of a sudden got a bunch of minors following her (which is already extremely ???)
* lead singer very understandably says she hasn't got time nor energy to comb through 4,000 individual people to block every individual minor especially when many of them lie about their age anyway
* teens double down, lead singer goes "fuck it", posts that the band is done with, deletes her twitter and privates her instagram
it's a goddamn shitshow
