@shoofle @typhlosion Reasonable. I think framing it as a Defined Community in the first place was a mistake but somehow that's what happened :/
(The trends that lead to that were long before my time, to be clear.)

@starkatt @shoofle for me it feels more like i am too... bland, in a lot of ways? to throw myself into these concepts, despite liking the sound of them. like my worldview is too straightforward for this stuff or something. it's hard to put my finger on

@starkatt @shoofle @literorrery oh shit uhh hi! i didn't mean to insinuate you did poorly with your writing; if i had the mental energy to focus hard on the essay i could probably get a lot more out of it. it just wasn't a very easily penetrable read, if that makes sense. it's definitely going in my bookmarks so i can pore over it later.

@starkatt @shoofle @literorrery another essay from elsewhere helped me understand the idea of postfurry a little more, but i'll revisit your essay later to see if i can glean anything else of it

other than that i suppose i just have to hang out around neat people who know stuff about it and maybe i'll figure it out that way??

But I like feeling that way so it was great >.<
