I guess I should start looking into other ways to receive funds what with people quitting patreon
I understand why people are doing it but it means significant loss to the creators who use it

@inurashii The short form is that the Patreon charging changes hurt small-dollar donors the worst, and as a result a lot of creators who rely on small-dollar donors are looking for alternatives so their patrons aren't spending thirty to forty percent of their pledges in service fees instead of going to the creators.

@literorrery @inurashii i've been telling everyone that as soon as they move to another platform i'll 100% support them again
some folks i'm keeping my patreon around for cuz either A) i want to guarantee support of them or B) i'm paying enough that i can eat the fee

@inurashii @literorrery but every time i drop this is check the box that says I'm dropping it bc of patreon's features or policies and saying "your new pricing model is exploitative"
