@vahnj Is this why the images take ages to de-blur when you click through to the full-size one? Because we've been seeing that particular problem for months.
@Felthry yea the Paris s3 might not be too good but it means image uploads don't take ages
@vahnj Never had a problem with uploads, just downloads.
@Felthry yeah that's my point! Uploads are fast bc they live closer to the awoo server. It's reads that suck but the client is the one who downloads them not the awoo server

@Felthry ok so we store images in S3 which is also where people view it currently
When you upload an image you upload to awoo when then uploads to s3 because The awoo server does not want to share keys to write or delete data but also this takes processing power to do so the longer it has to deal with uploading the slower awoo in general will go
However when you read, it tells the client to download the image rather than serve the image itself
@Felthry amazon s3 is a file hosting service you can use to share files publicly too
It's basically a web-ready cloud hard drive
