@Mycroft I don't remember that at all but it could just be you had married someone with that kind of personality. I remember my guy would get all gushy and cute bc I gave him so many gifts
Also "beard" as the term for "a way to display my masculinity" In terms of dating someone cuz it means they're not actually your SO they're just there to deflect the idea of your being gay (like how a beard might be)
