lgbt death in media
@jasminehenry there are so many ways to leverage death in a way that doesn't focus on queerness being the reason they die
all the queer stories that focus on this focus on leveraging that as a means to inform, to invoke sympathy, or to produce change. not to justify what some other character does in the story
lgbt death in media
@jasminehenry pretty much the exclusive problem i have with queer death is how much it's used by straight people
all the queer media i've ever consumed doesn't leverage queer death in a way to vindicate/empower a cishet person or make it a plot point that doesn't seem to accomplish anything other than killing off a queer character

uspol/rip science (reflection)
@thefishcrow@cybre.space literally you told him what the fundamental concept of science is. The basic first step is observation.
He literally just said "no" in a big ass "I care more about my feelings than science"
You did good, you weren't even bashing him and gave him plenty of room to think and discuss instead of trying to talk over him.
That guy is an ass.

I think I might grant them a pool of advantage dice for use with the investigation skill - allowing you to add advantage
It doesn't quite feel right yet though but maybe the ability part should instead come from later levels
Tabletop talky
The more I think about it, the concept of "curiosity" or "inquisitiveness" is sticking for defining goblins
Thanks @posit@chitter.xyz your story was fantastic :3

Thought about the idea of embedding "kings and Queens" as something inherent to the race but I struggle to find that meaningful for pcs when I want that to remain purely in the NPC land
I just am not sure how to structure them, as a people.

Goblins!
Resistance to disease baseline and what do they unlock for abilities????
I thought about commerce. Don't like it
Thought about crafting. Trying to avoid min maxers for that.
Thought about "structure", even came up with a cool ability for it, then realized that not all goblin fiction has goblins as organized bands.
So what's the flavor behind goblins as a people? I'm struggling to break them down across different uses.
@Felthry there was an issue we've seen here even where users don't get home feeds and even when regenerated nothing shows up from the past: https://github.com/tootsuite/mastodon/issues/6331
Thanks to @renatolond debugging this issue, we've found that everything works *when you're logged in* and doesn't if you're not and go through the actual login form. Therein lies the problem. The login process circumvents the hooks that check for these conditions and trigger a home feed regeneration
