@mawr Now I'm jealous... I miss trees... rain and storms.
Ugh.. I fucking hate dealing with our UK datacenter. Techs make me feel like I'm dealing with 5 year olds. Inventory and docs are never up to date and they work 9-5 BST. The rest of our locations are 24/7. So by the time I wake up they have already gone home and I have to wait to day to deal with any confusion on their part. Oh and they don't understand reply all or use this address because I'm sleeping..
Venting about work (2)
@mawr That seems like a huge shift.. what the hell happened?
Venting about work
@mawr WTF?!
Skype for business and MS Teams are terrible.
Onedrive vs Dropbox is kinda eh.. both have pretty much the same features.
It sounds like someone bought hard into the MS cloud koolaid...
Sharepoint is a clusterfuck and the rest of that stuff is difficult as fuck to have external backups... or you know have a functional environment if something goes wrong with Azure..
@IrisKalmia Ahhh! Just need fire!
@mawr I'm jelly :(
@IrisKalmia A s'more ration? Doesn't sound like something that lasts very long.. obviously devour it.
@mawr @adeptomega woah.. that is cool!
@mawr ... X3
@mawr Mawr... you are just now realizing how much you love alot of alliteration?
@mawr Yus!
@mawr Though word of warning... I had to seek out some juicy, thick noodles in an unami heavy sauce with grilled meats and veggies the day I started Provenance >.>
@mawr Maawr, you need to listen to Provenance! Noodles and sea worms are the new tea!
@kelseyhusky @mawr
This sounds familiar...
@Leucrotta Obviously kobolds.
@mawr It makes for a surprisingly fun group experience!
During our trip in July, we'd occasionally pause the audio book to talk about scene or something that just happened.
Plus it was fun to share something with Aurora that she probably never would have been exposed to otherwise.
@mawr It is pretty awesome!
I really enjoyed listening to Ancillary Justice/Mercy and need to finish Sword with roommates because it got them hooked. It's a very different format. Hard to say if I enjoyed reading it more or listening... but the narrators for Justice and Mercy were great!
Shape and form may vary but the pattern of information remains consistent across most known platforms and vessels. Accounting for unknown hosts remains irksome.
