@Balinares Peg started looking at financial stuff this morning and I'm having more and more trouble believing there's a future... *hug*

@Balinares Honestly, nah, and when I look at the ACTUAL details we have so many advantages it's kind of laughable that I'm even stressed. Peg is just fretting over long-term moving plans and our general lack of household income, and... yeah, it's looking like the Slacker Era has been brought to a close in America. Which means, chronic fatigue or not, it's time to pick myself up and try to rejoin the full-time workforce again. ;__;

@Balinares Admittedly, "ask boss if there's ANYTHING I can do to get a job at HERE.com, if I'm willing to move to Berkeley" is on the list of possibilities, but it's probably a pretty remote one!
Also, I have a long-term possible lead thanks to @acetone_kitten, but it would require (a) flagging them down for some training (b) a longer commitment to staying in Seattle than Peg would probably be comfortable with...

@Balinares And of course, so much of this would be easier if we could rely on Emperor Stubby Fingers not suddenly taking away my semblance of public healthcare... >_< One of Peg's proposals is moving to New Orleans, which does have distinct charms (good rent, trans-friendly, Peg has some friends there) but would put us right in the middle of a VERY conservative state.
