profoundly unhealthy-looking food

This is what I mean when I say I love-hate my job. I'm effectively getting paid to research European pancake taxonomy, so we can make a tight category call. I ran into these in the process, and I can't get them out of my mind now:

@Balinares Yes, but we called them sfràppole in Cleveland, Ohio. :)

Also, assuming Livejournal is not lying to me, happy birthday! Or belated birthday, depending on time zone vagaries. :)

@zebratron2084 ... Ooooh.

'Schmarrn' is *such* a dragonnish name, too.

@Momentrabbit New headcanon: Schmarm is Smaug's laid-back gay nephew, voiced by Harvey Fierstein, with the world's largest brunch hoard. His breath weapons include powdered sugar, coffee, and orange juice. Needless to say, he's part of both Enmerkar's social circle and his hypothetical Coen Brothers fiasco. He has a lot of nice sweaters and has eaten several of his smaller friends' bad romantic partners.

@Momentrabbit (Hmm. Yes, I noticed my typo and now I'm not sure if I want to correct it or not...)

@zebratron2084 Love the Czech "kajzršmorn"!

@zebratron2084 That doesn't look hard to cook at all.

@literorrery @zebratron2084 if you can figure out how to do a GF version, let me know, because I'm already pondering giving it a try. possibly with honey. or Nutella. (prrrrooooobably not *both*)
