I also rather loved Black Books and still do... though now I have a sneaking suspicion that's because of Dylan Moran. (Who is a lovely, dark-humored fellow and apparently has a lengthy stand-up rant in favor of trans rights...)

I will probably never, ever, ever in my life succeed in winning a fair, factual debate against a conservative on social media (nor having one), nor will I ever change any of their minds.

But damn, I have gotten good at inducing that moment where they suddenly snap over from "I AM A VERY RATIONAL INDIVIDUAL FULL OF FACTS, AND WHICH ONE OF YOU FOOLS WANTS TO TAKE ME ON" to "I didn't want to talk to you idiots anyhow. *pout* "

And that's not much, but it's gratifying as hell, and maybe it'll save some of the fence-sitters from being taken in. I don't know if it's the good fight, but it's the Happy Hunt, and I've come to accept it: I am not a healer. I am a huntress.
