After the last two seasons of Futurama, I'm not surprised at all that Disenchantment apparently turned out completely stale. Groening's humor is really showing its age.

And after his response to the Apu controversy... I'm also kinda of _pleased_ it's tanking. I would have felt kind of icky about loving any new work from Groening at this point, same way I feel kind of icky about still being a Rick and Morty fan. (No apologies: Harmon's a jerk but he's still got genius-level comic timing.)

(This is definitely not a slam on the friends who have been such good support here. <3 Y'all did great in many ways, but the tides of history aren't things I guess we can stand up to. Do better than I did in my absence. <3 )
