@mmsword "Gee, Dr. Zander, is that when you knew you were Mad?"</tvs_frank>

@mmsword @kelseyhusky I still CAN NOT WAIT to give that SOB his snarky Parallax cameo-- he bashed Peggy as One Of Those Crazy Otherkin Trannies on a forum years ago-- based on a post he totally f-ing misread-- and pulled the "gosh, I can't recall" when we politely confronted him as hurt, disappointed fans.
Can not see TenNapel suffer enough bad PR as far as I'm concerned. -_-
@Oneironott Um. Do you know anything about NOLA, hun? I'm pretty sure the local otters are STREETS ahead of you on the fish and kelp thing. :3 <3
(ffs am tiger, been here <24 h, already a bit sick of fish >_>; )
evil thoughts; so long suckers <3
i regret only that peg and i did not rent a van with huge speakers and drive around our entire last day in seattle blasting innocent pedestrians what's new pussycat at 0.25x speed because when else in life are you going to have such a horrible thing wiped so quickly from your karmic record
@Oneironott We're probably gonna be going to the Audubon Zoo in the next couple weeks. Any messages for the local deep-cover Neptunian agents?
@001zlnv That's brilliant. I'll start talking to the folks in the Cat Lab and start doing the calibration tests in the morning...

Ok, this one is kinda good.
So we put some last-minute items out curbside yesterday, including all the books and magazines I didn't quite feel right making some charity volunteer sort through. (Read: smut.)
One of the items left out was an issue of the sadly defunct German latex-fashion magazine Marquis. Marquis was a pretty major influence on my concept of fetish fashion. So you know it must get pretty weird, but elegantly so.
Still. When we left this morning, Peg noticed that the Marquis had been taken. And then she noticed that it had also been left on a stoop less than a block away.
I would give damn near anything for a complete written log of the Marquis recipient's thoughts as he (a) decided to pick it up (b) flipped through it on the way down the street (c) decided to leave it there.
I feel like somehow I have gotten a sterling endorsement of my fashion sense today. O:)
Aww, I'd forgotten about these guys! If Anthracite and I had kids in the hypercosm, they'd probably end up something like this.
(And real nearsighted. With bad sinuses. And godawful senses of humor.)

I should do my little part to repopularize these critters. Maybe let one of the ship avatars in Parallax be a real fancy, frilly levitating one with some Cheshire influence? (cc: @anthracite)
@dodec *tries to ship them with obscure cereal mascot Big Mixx and thereby breed a draco-chicken-eagle-wolf-lion-moose-goat-pig-another-lion-snake*

Wow. The stereotypical Japanese character on the Channel 4 series Flowers is really offensive... until you realize _that's the creator_ playing that role.
Even then, I was ready to get my Angry White Liberal hackles raised, because said creator is named "Will Sharpe"... and I made the logical but totally wrong assumption about his ethnicity. William *Tomomori Fukuda* Sharpe's ethnicity, as it turns out.
I read a little further into it and apparently it's partly a subversion, and partly a wink at the fact it's his deliberate attempt to introduce Japanese comedy tropes to a British audience.
Hmm. I'm only halfway through episode 2, and I'll keep you posted if this turns out to be any good.
