There are some things I could find to complain about, I guess, but Peggy is being super fun today, we're out at a cafe working outdoors in the sun, work isn't hurting my brain, the comic is looking gorgeous, and this is my absolute favorite season of the year.

Was a bit proud of this exchange. It addresses important things the Armchair Rationalist crowd misses about brain management IMO.

Context: we were talking about Figure 1, the "immunity dog" meme. Orange had called the meme "lawful evil," and someone responded with "If it saves some from subconsciously worrying... doesn't the end justify the means?" Orange didn't like that idea, and I (Blue) tried to explain to 'em why a "magic feather" needn't be "real" to be a positive thing.

I just can't stop grinning at this panel of Noa telling Kurt something's just not happening.

God, this dual-plot makes my brain hurt. I have absolutely no idea at this point if it's going to flow properly or not. This is by far the most complicated thing I've ever written. And I'm kind of proud of some of the good bits, I think there's real potential here, but I'm really starting to worry that I've bitten off more than I can chew. I haven't a clue if this is going to read okay, or be the least bit interesting, to anybody but Peg and me. Oh well, no turning back now.

There was a day where I would have been really excited about this. Right now, it absolutely terrifies me. We're not even remotely ready.

American Vandal Season 2 is really good, better than the first. Most profound extended poop joke I ever hope to see.

Seriously, it was kind of beautiful, and there isn't actually THAT much poop in it. (Note that this, of course, confirms that there isn't zero poop in it. It's still worth it.)

A couple of folks have asked about my move schedule, so here's the PSA! Our lease is up in around April of next year, and then we hope to be moving to New Orleans.

So if you've been worrying about not getting to see me before I go, you've still got about six to eight months. Even *I'm* not that bad at logistics. =^_^=
