Cripes, I've been joking for years about writing a self-help book about furry identity play as a form of therapy.

I never thought I'd see the day where that almost started to sound like a practical idea. O_o

I mean, it's got a more sound and proven basis than a lot of the self-help books published by alleged humans these days. :p

Back during the Goon Wars of the mid-00s, I had kinda daydreamed that someday other groups on the queer-radical-geek-perv spectrum would see past furries' unfair reputation as losers and notice we can actually Give Great Discourse.

And here it is years later, and it's smacking me in the face that THIS IS ACTUALLY EXACTLY WHAT'S HAPPENING.

It's kinda exciting but kind of a shame since 20 years of cannabis overuse has made me forget what I wanted to tell them all so badly. :)

I have seen major circumstantial evidence that I am way ahead of my coworker on my current task.

It feels really good to be able to tell your boss, "Yeah, I have the last one written up and they should start coming in Monday," when your only rival still has work coming in from the LAST cycle.

I think I lapped them. XD I seriously might need to look for a more challenging job this year. I don't think I'm getting any more XP from these low-level missions.

I have this urge to curl up with someone and watch the old Get Along Gang cartoon.

(Not the godawful CBS series, the proper Nelvana one where the characters actually have personalities, at least by Those Characters From Cleveland standards. But I might make you watch the dreadful reboot pilot...)

I adore her and we've had a wonderful day together, but... I don't think this is something I could really ask, nor want, of @egypturnash. 😅​

Is anybody else playing Armello on Steam, by any chance? I generally have zero interest in multiplayer gaming, but this is turning out to be a subtle enough game that I'd like to play it with sapients--- preferably friends who are as likely as I am to compulsively RP their characters.

(You do NOT, for instance, want to meet my head-Barnaby. He's a sweet, friendly little bunnyboy who just wants to play with his nightbirdie friends out in the forest. Highest Rot: 15. >:D )
