Literal Nazis, Daily Stormer, Huffington Post
Huffington Post claims possession of a Daily Stormer 'style guide' for writers: written by Andrew Anglin, the site's founder, and promoted by Vox Day and Andrew 'weev' Auernheimer.
Unless the provenance of this document can be disproved (because it is the Internet), it appears very explicit that yes, these are in fact *literal*, not ironic, Nazis and they are in fact committed to anti-Semitism and an end game of genocide.

zebratron, defined
some people find comfort in blindly committing to an ideology
some people lose themselves in relationships
other souls can find peace in nature
some must spend years practicing meditation to find their serenity
some are just born lucky, content with their own simple existence and awareness
and then you have people like me, who just found a deep spiritual comfort in discovering mary woronov played the mom in the music video for institutionalized by suicidal tendencies
OK masto hive. Need your help for a good, scholarly cause. :)
What the hell are the lyrics to the bridge of this Micachu song?! (2:41)

They're not official, and I've never let a (non-REM) lyric beat me before.
Best guess:
"Now I'm standing in the pouring rain
(Yeah, I know - yeah, I know)
My brother's [in the pen all over again]
(Yeah, I know - yeah, I know)
[S]he's a [bumbaclot], so very flippin' [*******]"
If you can fill those asterisks in, especially... <3 <3 <3

mood
good mood today except for the culture i'm living in, the planet i'm living on, and the species of violently deranged symbol-obsessed apes I'm living among
i had horrible social-anxiety nightmares where i was at a con and absolutely none of you wanted to socialize with me or even tell me how to locate you. my frustration got worse and worse until my temper kicked in and i went carrie on everything
it didn't affect me much, since bandaza was the exact opposite, TOO much love & attention :)
trivial work gripe
It's not the writing that's draining. It's not the research that's draining. It's the communicating.
When it's just me versus the database, everything's fine and I can almost kinda focus and I love my job.
But this month has all been judging the work of actual people, with no choice but to tell them at least SOMETHING about what I think of their work. Every word carries a risk of committing offense, and it costs me about two spoons per hour just to run the social filters. ;_;
storygame ideas, lengthy ramble
Other than that, I'm thinking this will be pretty freeform, with just the bare minimum of rules necessary to give people inspiration.
Does this sound like something that might be fun? I'm especially curious what @ElectricKeet, @Vedia_Lupae, and @green think, since you were my original batch of volunteers and have dibs on any actual playtests. ^_^
I'd especially love volunteers to help with the game design aspect of this, if it sounds interesting at all.
storygame ideas, lengthy ramble
Each hero, team, organization, civilization, etc. created during the game gets its own card, with a couple of power-ranking stats. (This is mostly for narrative and record-keeping purposes; no character really "belongs" to any given player.)
The campaign is divided into eras: Pulp, Golden, Silver, Bronze, Dark, Modern, and Post-Modern. A new set of trope cards is introduced with each era, gradually introducing things like team-ups, what-ifs, & multiverses.

storygame ideas, lengthy ramble
So. I teased something about an RP experiment a couple of months ago, but I don't think I ever explained what it was!
I want a storygame RPG that'll create an entire comic-book continuity in the course of a single campaign, from the first "powered" pulp hero to dimension-shattering Retcon Crises.
Planning on card-based mechanics, using the Silicon Dawn deck with all the extras. Each player turn equals one full comic issue.

mood (-)
(That said, fuck the "freeze peach" mentality, too. Most of the "speech" that crowd is defending is deliberately, painstakingly crafted to be low-quality and crowd out meaningful exchanges. What those bastards did to Leslie Jones, for example, should have been punished with banning, mutings, censurings, blockings, and repeated bludgeonings. That's not only not protected speech, I'm not sure I'd call it speech. Speech has content. -_- )
