State court lgbtq+ news (++)
Two lgbtq+ sex discrimination cases were affirmed by the Missouri Supreme Court this week! One involves workplace discrimination against an openly gay man, and the other involved public accommodations discrimination against a trans student.
Y'all probably don't have any reason in particular to care about Missouri court cases, but we don't get positive lgbtq+ news around here too often.

We can still use the letter w instead of ƿ, because ƿ looks a lot like a p and anyway changing letters is harder than changing names for letters, let's just call it something one-syllable like literally every other letter in the english alphabet

Any #rustlang devs interested in porting the Mastodon streaming API from Node.js to Rust?
We would likely not be able to abandon the Node.js version completely for portability's sake, but there is no reason not to have a more performant drop-in for those who can install it.
The Node.js version consumes about 1GB of RAM for 21k connections.
