Someone thought this was clever ad copy. They were wrong.
Friends, if you hear a common word used a lot and don't understand why, try a bit of research instead of plastering your ignorance all over the place as part of an advertising campaign, y'know?
Bad language.
@RealPoptartBear To be fair, it's not an easy job, trying to appeal to an audience you don't understand. I've been there. I'm sure I'll find myself there more and more over time. Maybe if I were under the pressure of having to sell millions of dollars of derivative schlock to cover the cost of producing the derivative schlock, I also would be willing to go live with such stuff without ever running it by anyone with any actual sense.
@ElectricKeet Not effin' okay. >:(
@mawr I know, right? I got _angry_ when I saw it, and not the comical "why did they set this type in Papyrus" kind of angry.
Bad language.
@ElectricKeet ...Kay any interest I had in seeing that is now gone.
Bad language.
@ElectricKeet Wow, that's a super shitty byline. D:
Bad language.
@ElectricKeet Well, advertisers can be pretty idiotic. They like to be "hip".
