Reading and woo
Anywhere including nowhere.
'On the board & in life for Kraken in the void nothing is not nothing. Kraken stillness is not lack. Its zero is ubiquity. This is the movement that looks like not moving, & it is the most powerful move of all.'
...yeah i like the squid cult. shush. there's novel bits to be nibbled on, little motes to draw here and there. Interesting so far; only a quarter through the book. It's neat. n_n
woo, addendum
so after doing some basic google-fu, I found:
https://www.cnet.com/news/robot-priest-blessu2-germany-anniversary-reformation/
apparently the robot was made as part of an exhibit on the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, not necessarily for like widespread use.
So, I guess my gripes were part of the intent. ;P

@neonNeptunian is this a handmaids tale joke?

@Fuego the bot or my rambling?
i think the former is sincere, albeit intentionally thought-provoking based on what I could find:
https://www.cnet.com/news/robot-priest-blessu2-germany-anniversary-reformation/
apparently made part of an exhibition for the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.
So, like, not intended for actual use.
...if the latter I haven't read Handmaids Tale so :D :D :D

@neonNeptunian the prayer machine
woo cont'd, birdsite link
@neonNeptunian ... you'd think that sapience would be a basic requirement for prayer to like, count.

Relatedly, on spirituality, found a link on birdsite to a touchscreen kioskbot that could dispense Christian prayers on request:

I don't know whether to be amused or put off? It is novel, yes, but at the same time, dispensing prayers from a vending machine...kinda cheapens the moment, doesn't it?
A generic prayer would never equal in...gravitas...to one woven for a specific person, a specific instance, imho.
