@Fuego Cats get a really bad rap.
The problem is that people mix up cats being independent solitary animals with antisocial assholes and dogs codependency on owners because pack animals as love. Cats are quite capable of showing affection and love.
Kinda like me: im an introvert who appears to be antisocial and not need others but if show me i cant trust you and giving me friendship and affection, i will dump friendship and affection on you.
she knows if she approaches me and stands to the right of my desk chair ill lift her into my lap.
My heart melts everytime my kitty comes for cuddles

Awkward trans moment
Some one told me today that my voice mail message hadn't been updated. it was in dead name and old voice. Sooooooo embarrassing, my phone betrayed me and was outing me.
Also then had to go through the trauma of recording and listening to my voice to set new voice mail message.

@Skirmisher im a big irc user too so this feels normal for me. Different channels/instances have different themes and rules, you might know some people who are in several with you but generally they have slightly different people in each one (even if they have a similar theme)
Cats are really thoughtful and considerate to their human friends. Mine will come and snuggle with my at any hour but will especially come for cuddles if she senses im depressed or feeling down.

Ive been here about 24 hours so far i think and made about 50 posts but better late than never here is my #introductions.
