"You two have been together for _how long?_"
Nineteen years? Nineteen years!
I love you, @orrery – and every day, that love grows deeper and stronger. I'd make all the same promises again without a moment's hesitation. Let's keep doing what we do so well together!
Also: @kobunny, you're a fantastic friend, and I'm glad that this day also marks two years of you and Orrery being an item. I think we all make a good team together (that includes you, @IceWeasel!) so this is basically the best ever!
Aaaa cute. Comic about visiting your past, pre-transition self http://allosaurusfragilis.tumblr.com/post/176976406631/amp?__twitter_impression=true
comfortably warm take, accessibility
Fake HTML tags (e.g., <deadpan></deadpan>) can be incredibly useful in primarily text-based communication mediums, as they allow you to add a blatantly obvious "tone of voice" to what you're saying. For people with autism like myself, and those with similar processing quirks, that extra context data can sometimes be the difference between laughter and feeling like the butt of the joke.
Not sayin' you have to use 'em, but keep 'em in mind, hey?

No one calls a podcast a "blindness-accessible article" but they ARE. Once you start reframing use-cases like this, the world of design opens up to you, instead of closing off. That is the power of accessibility.
Me, playing resource gathering games on weekends:
"Okay I need to pause time here so I can set up the most efficient gathering techniques to get this done as quickly as possible"
Me in real life on weekends:
*falls out of bed with a ✨paff✨at noon, makes a sound similar to the one Wall•E makes when they're low on battery, knocks phone to the floor when reaching for it*
“Only 170 days till I get to see you again.”
“Darling, I’m on Mars, remember? It's only 165 days for me.”
“What about Titan days? Then it's only 10.6!”
“You know, I like to think of it in Venus days. Then I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Pfff! In Venus days, this relationship is technically still a one night stand.”
Stages of planning a Tabletop Session:
T- 7 Days: "I know pretty much what needs to happen here."
T- 3 Days: "Yup, got a lock on it."
T- 2 Days: "Shit this isn't going to work at all"
T- 24 Hours: "Okay, fixed."
T- 2 hours: "Aaaaaah what did I do help everything is going to burn down, fall over, and sink into the swamp"
T- 0:00:00 "Okay everybody, so go easy on me this time"
T+ 15 minutes: "Thank god, they're all still making butt jokes"
T+ 1 hour: "Yes, this is PERFECT, nailed it!"
