@ziphi We've always seen it spelled rigamarole, never rigmarole.
-F

@owashii@plush.city thank you. i still can't people right now but it's appreciated
-F

@owashii@plush.city sorry

we're kind of stressed and not good at people right now
-F

@owashii@plush.city they make plastics more malleable and easier to shape
-F

@owashii@plush.city it's a class of compound commonly used as plasticisers, the name comes from greek where φθ is an uncommon but not unheard-of consonant cluster
-F

concept: fantasy universe where magic is heavily instinctual and actively resists being studied, but physical combat has realistic levels of required training, swapping around the usual "anyone can swing a sword but you need to be really smart™ for magic"
-F

you ever think about air? it's pretty nice
-F

@DarkOverord look we'd never seen either beyond just, hearing about them in passing as a thing that exists

the names are similar enough that we just thought we were misremembering when someone mentioned one and we thought of the other name
-F

having never seen either, we kind of just assumed that judge dredd and judge judy were the same show, constantly thinking we were misremembering the name whenever someone mentioned one

but apparently they're different

@rey oh and kale, kale is another one that has a lot of hype about its nutrition

disclaimer: we haven't looked into any of these specifically, we just know that very commonly these "superfoods" turn out to have a lot of something, yes, but other more common things also have a lot of that same something
-F

@rey "superfoods" have been a thing for a number of years, it's why you suddenly see a lot of stuff with acai and quinoa and stuff

afawk there's nothing really exceptional, nutritionally, about the foods people make these claims about, other foods are also similarly good for you, but it does mean more variety
-F

@rey though it often does mean the general public gets to try something that used to be really hard to find so maybe we'll try this stuff if the grocery store has any
-F

@rey they make all kinds of claims about nutritional content that if you look into it probably also apply to like, bananas or grapes or blueberries or something (fruit is generally pretty good for you) and hype it up like it's some kind of amazing new thing
-F

@rey honestly that's basically the internet word for "fruit no one's heard of before"
-F

@rey apparently a fruit the internet calls a "superfruit", and also a character in pokemon
