@trysdyn At the very least, definitely put the files up on archive.org!

@hi_cial 1 is not prime because if you count it as a prime it breaks a lot of things, iwrc

@Dex here's me! fully synth and proud of it, the joints where I come apart are emphasized rather than hidden, and the whole lower body has the texture of a neoprene diving suit

@frummidge @owashii@plush.city oh yes also tri force heroes shares an engine with a link between worlds

also, the japan-only BS Zelda no Densetsu: Inishie no Sekiban shares an engine with A Link to the Past
-F

@owashii@plush.city @frummidge They share a few glitches, even! most notably, the infamous back in time glitch, which was first discovered in twilight princess (and saves about 20 minutes in the speedrun), later found to be *completely broken* in skyward sword (it saves about four-five hours in that speedrun), and then much later found to be possible, with difficulty, in wind waker too, but completely useless in any speedrun context
-F

@frummidge @owashii@plush.city Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword are all on the same engine. And Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks share an engine too

re: Skyward Sword thoughts

@owashii@plush.city one more major flaw: giving you the answer

there are so many points in the game where you see a cool puzzle and think "oh it'll be neat to work out how you're supposed to do this one" and then... either Fi pops up and gives you a step by step guide, or there's a nearby sign that does the same

there's one case where there's a sign that gives you the answer in the form of a barely-counts-as-a-riddle riddle.... and then Fi pops up immediately after reading it and gives you the answer to the riddle

@niss you put all of austria in a vat and it still only costs €30?

re: spoilers

@owashii@plush.city @hi_cial @heatherhorns that whole segment where she's the princess and that means she can't do anything feels like the most rushed segment of the game, so i wnder if it would have been different if it was less rushed

@typhlosion recommendations in that: all the usual ones (freecell/forecell, variants of spider, klondike, etc), but also blockade, busy aces, algerian patience, queen topsy-turvy, american toad

it also lets you make custom games and we've made one or two simple variants that are enjoyable

we like the ones that you can usually win
-F

@typhlosion if you haven't tried it before, there's a really good solitaire app on android that's just called "250+ solitaire collection": play.google.com/store/apps/det

one of the few timewaster apps we've liked enough to pay for
-F

@typhlosion solitaire in general is just fun ways of sorting things

to the point that there's a sorting algorithm based on it, actually: patience sort, because solitaire is called patience in british english
-F

@NovaSquirrel oh that's neat! is that a minecraft clone or a port?
