@slimewolf @Moot if regular wolverine is rad, this one is just rad-ish

@heatherhorns_lite i still wish more things supported TOTP, which has basically no hardware requirements (you just have to have a $10 TOTP key, or you can use an app on your phone) and is still a secure form of 2fa (there's no account to be hacked into, it's all based on math)

re: request for advice re: ebook readers

@tangent128 we have a kobo libra 2, which feels like the default suggestion considering the one you broke--seems to be the only one left that has physical buttons and supports arbitrary ebooks though
-F

@squirrellilly we have never understood what "immersive sim" is supposed to mean

re: judging palworld without actually scrutinizing it

@LexYeen @heatherhorns_lite also the fact that the dev has been outspoken in favor of AI-generated assets for games is A Problem regardless of whether this specific game is or not
-F

@Moot a printing error in the Japanese translation of the first version of the D&D monster manual had the information for kobolds printed with a picture of dogfolk, so there's a whole tradition of canine kobolds in Japanese media

@heatherhorns_lite the contestant doesn't even get to keep the cake or skeleton
-F

@NovaSquirrel it *is* a lot darker than the other ones yeah

we just liked it a lot? dunno why exactly
-F

@NovaSquirrel season 3 is the best season anyway, i dunno why it gets forgotten all the time
-F

wait pokemon go brought back shadow pokemon?
i thought that was a concept that was confined to the gamecube games
-F

@heatherhorns_lite nintendo had nothing to do with them though--they were made after nintendo left the partnership

re: TH17.5 spoilers

@DarkOverord @sharkNserg i'd play that, at least for a little bit just to see what it's like
-F

@shnorbles oh!! do you want a recipe for a really good one? we have a recipe for this that we really love
-F

@shnorbles then there you go! check out simon tatham's puzzles, see how you like that one
-F

@shnorbles simon tatham's puzzles has picross in it, i think

they're all randomly generated puzzles though, no actual images of things

still a good puzzle game to have. no ads, free, unlimited puzzles of every sort it has in it

the Hearth :ms_agender_flag: boosted

can anyone identify a game for me I played a bunch of a demo on PC in like, the early 2000s? it was a Diablo-like game with the same perspective, but full 3d.

1: the blood effect in the game was pretty silly looking; when you killed enemies their model would just instantly turn into a sphere of blood that fell straight down and splattered

2: loading screens up/down spiral staircases showed the stairs being run through in first perso

EDIT: Solved! It was "Darkstone"

re: my spiciest zelda opinion probably

@heatherhorns_lite i agree, oot was impressive at the time and pretty decent but mm is the *really* good one
-F

@BatElite @heatherhorns_lite pokemon games alternate between this and "remake the universe in my image" types

and then you get ghetsis, the "take over the tri-state area" type, who is bizarrely anyway one of the best-written villains in the series????

re: Fursona, character design, rambling, WIP, implied anxiety/unsure

@KaffeineKaiju hey, this is a really really good look 💚
