@Nine the capcom zeldas have great music in general though
-F

apparently the official nintendo power guide book to oracle of seasons introduces the section on level 4, dancing dragon dungeon, by saying that the dungeon has no dragons and "you certainly won't be doing any dancing"

but the dungeon has the most danceable music in the entire game: youtube.com/watch?v=xhGS79bPPC

@owashii@plush.city you're welcome to appreciate them if you like~

@owashii@plush.city i'm always in favor of multi

just three at the moment though
-F

@Nine now i want to know what *is* the worst port
-F

@owashii@plush.city you're welcome! If you want any help figuring out how to set it up, feel free to ask (lots of UPSes you can configure stuff like, if it's off power and the battery is low it'll signal the computer to shut down safely, for instance, and the APC one we have at work can actually send you emails to alert you to power outages and stuff if you want)
-F

@owashii@plush.city but it did mean we learned a lot about what makes a good one, because they needed to be certain that server wouldn't go down if there were power flickers
-F

@owashii@plush.city that's fair. like i said, if you can afford it! we're not familiar with the price difference because our experience with UPSes was just, figuring out one to get for the server at work, and the price was someone else's problem
-F

@ikrupp @owashii@plush.city I don't say it as an insult! Rust is a fascinating substance and very useful
-F

@owashii@plush.city Consider a slightly more professional-market UPS, over a consumer-market one, if you can afford it. there's a pretty significant jump in quality to our knowledge
-F

@owashii@plush.city Note that the TDP of the GPU will be up or down a few watts between GPU manufacturers, too; if it's overclocked or something it'll be a little higher. And then you add about ten watts for fans and RAM and stuff, and if you have a spinning-rust drive that'll add a few watts too--so yeah your 330 watts is probably pushing it if you're going to do anything super intensive
-F

@owashii@plush.city you'd look up the TDP of the CPU and the TDP of the GPU and add them together
-F

@owashii@plush.city That's really low. Is that the CPU + GPU or just the CPU? (it's fine to ignore the power consumption of stuff like RAM and fans but the CPU and GPU both need to be considered)
-F

@owashii@plush.city what's the TDP of your computer?
-F

@owashii@plush.city did you ever get a new UPS with more appropriate ratings for the load?
-F

@starkatt i vaguely recall that there are actual diachronic reasons for this, but that doesn't make it look any less absurd
-F

@bj Lions with comfortable numbers of limbs <3

@alexi_cryptovex @element15@plush.city people interacting with a post from five years ago is somewhat alarming, especially when we can't even remember the context of the post
