can anyone identify a game for me I played a bunch of a demo on PC in like, the early 2000s? it was a Diablo-like game with the same perspective, but full 3d.
1: the blood effect in the game was pretty silly looking; when you killed enemies their model would just instantly turn into a sphere of blood that fell straight down and splattered
2: loading screens up/down spiral staircases showed the stairs being run through in first perso

and then you get ghetsis, the "take over the tri-state area" type, who is bizarrely anyway one of the best-written villains in the series????
