they should not exist

can we please get rid of them and use a functional tagging system that doesn't interfere with reading things

why did # become a symbol for in-text tags anyway

why are in-text tags a thing in the first place

Since I think we haven't mentioned yet! We're going on a trip to visit family for thanksgiving + a funeral, leaving tomorrow and returning saturday. We won't have our laptop because it's in really poor condition and we don't have the new one yet. We'll be around today but leaving early morning tomorrow.

apparently the gender of a wild arms 2 character (whose name I forget) was changed in the NA release because they didn't want to have an overtly gay character (their motivation for being on the bad guys' side was literally "is in love with the big bad guy"), so I guess that makes this character a straight trans woman instead of a gay cis man? some representation either way (of course they're still a bad guy so....)

micro-usb 3.0 looks weird

i don't think it really qualifies to be called micro either, if not for the backwards compatibility requiring the name i think it'd be "low-profile usb", perhaps "lp usb" if it became popular and wasn't replaced by usb-c

given that the 2.5" form factor was designed around fitting hard disk platters in it, I wonder just how much space inside 2.5" ssds is empty

since ssds of the same capacity can fit in the much smaller m.2 form factor, I wonder if they use the same flash chips or if they use cheaper ones that take up more space

so far this is about the spread I expected, though I wasn't really expecting a vote for espeon (i agree that espeon's shiny isn't as bad as a lot of people seem to think though)
