Is anyone here familiar enough with the game Lufia and the Fortress of Doom to help us with something? I've gotten stuck and can't seem to figure out how we're supposed to find the answer to this puzzle, because the information we have so far is not enough to solve it and we've scoured the entire area for all its hints.

Ping @Lotherme@the.monsterpit.net since I think he mentioned liking the game a lot?
Hey fedi, looking for some help that someone knowledgeable about web coding might be able to provide.
The old youtube style is still accessible by overriding the useragent to have your browser pretend to be a google bot. But when you do this, it breaks the show more button on video descriptions. We've found a tampermonkey userscript to put it back, but it only works if we refresh the page after loading a video.
What can be done to fix this?

We have previously noticed the difference in vertical position, but thought it was just a stylistic thing for characters on the edges, rather than specifically for the clone characters. It's possible we never put it together because we always thought of Luigi as a clone of Mario when we played, even though the two are actually very different.

It was just pointed out to us that the characters in the smash melee character select screen that have their portraits slightly lower are exactly the clone characters and no others: Dr. Mario, Falco, Pichu, Roy, Young Link, and Ganondorf, all directly adjacent to the character that they're a clone of.
For some reason this never occurred to us before.

assistance request, computer troubles
So, @pillowcat 's computer died today. We're pretty sure the harddrive is going bad and we're going to have to replace it but we do not have the funds. We're also running low on money, got an energy bill and we've also got basically no food money to last us the rest of the month, any little bit helps
Huh. Today we learned about the Aharonov-Bohm effect, which demonstrates that just knowing E and B at a point isn't enough to know how a particle at that point will be affected by the electromagnetic field
Specifically, it shows that a particle can be affected by a strong electromagnetic potential even when the particle does not go through any area of non-zero field strength

it's kind of weird that the vowel in the english -ed past tense ending is never pronounced, but can be pronounced when the meter of a poem or song demands it and it doesn't sound odd to native speakers.
also the difference between the words learned and learnèd which i think is the only case of a diacritical mark being used in a native english word
