we learned the other day that apparently they (specifically, Toshiba) actually do (or did) make IGBTs intended for analog amplification use, *including p-type IGBTs*, and that just feels extremely wild to us
we've never seen an IGBT used for anything other than power switching, and they're falling out of favor for that too as SiC MOSFETs become more available
and we've *definitely* never seen p-type ones

it's also quite expensive cable, though what might feel a bit counterintuitive is that it's not because of the silver--it's because of the plastic. It's very thin silver plating, hardly any actual silver in there--the reason it's so pricy is actually the insulation. FEP is an expensive plastic, though one with excellent properties for this particular purpose--good electrical insulation, highly flexible, and withstands really high temperatures

Zaira (formerly Sepia) relaxes with their hooves in a pool of warm water after a hard day in the fields. Two arms on the tile, two stretched to the sides, two stretching upward, one in their lap, and one holding a can of chilled juice. It's a nice reward for a long day, and one I was glad I could take a little more time to render than I've been spending on these sketches.
