as things are now we're using two high-voltage passive probes and one of the math channels on the scope, but this scope (like many these days) cuts its sample rate in half when you use more than two channels, and we do need to measure other things at the same time

you know what would be great? an oscilloscope with fully isolated channels and a gigahertz or so bandwidth

would solve some problems we're having because no one makes 1 ghz high-voltage diff probes

we got this fancy soda called "ale81" and it's pretty good

the cherry flavor version, however, is not pretty good and is in fact the closest thing we've tasted to cough medicine that was not just cough medicine

thing we learned today from watching a speedrun: in dark souls, it's possible to avoid fall damage by dodging the ground

several pieces on the soundtrack to tales of the abyss, including the opening theme, were written by a Japanese band called BUMP OF CHICKEN

i suspect no one will be able to figure out how exactly this video is a really oblique reference to tales of the abyss

sparkling water is actually pretty nice

we'd never really given it a chance before but it's nice having a fruit-flavored fizzy thing that isn't obnoxiously sweet

Still feels weird to think that coca-cola was, briefly, technically a defense contractor of some sort

a track that's been on our playlist lately is called "YOU'LL SEE OUT THE END OF THE TALES"; it's the final dungeon music from Ys 8. I'm not sure why soundtracks always seem to be translated weird even when the game is translated well; we would have just called it "You'll See This Through"

I also have no idea why it's all caps. Every piece on that soundtrack is.

people like to hate it because it's so different but i dunno i think it's pretty good

it has some problems, sure, some of the things you have to do are really cryptic and the final dungeon is kind of just unfair, but it's fun
