alternatively some other firefox fork that allows old addons *and* doesn't break weasyl and stackexchange, that would work too
why did they have to change the addon system, i hate how things are being made less accessible

this is a call for help because we kind of need this feature for accessibility reasons that are somewhat complicated to explain and i would really like to be able to use weasyl and stackexchange and stuff again

we've been using waterfox classic for the last several years so we can continue using an old extension that does what we want but websites keep breaking compatibility with the old version of firefox this is based on

can someone *please* find us a way to use modern firefox or a modern firefox fork with a download status bar that works
we hate the downloads being a button in the upper toolbar and really want them to be on the bottom but it seems like no extensions for modern firefox can do that without huge compromises

why does it feel like everything keeps being changed to be less accessible and less suited to our needs
why can't things just keep working the way they used to work, the way we've gotten used to them working

oh yeah phone calls, music, solitaire, and occasionally reading up on random interests on wikipedia, forgot that last one

this came up when talking to @noiob about mobile devices and learning that we have a very very different relationship with them
we can't stand using a phone for anything other than phone calls, music, and solitaire, it's way too small and you can't have multiple windows open at once (even if the OS allows it it's not usable on such a small screen)
