random weird thing we just stumbled across: for some reason, the pokemon mismagius's sprite faces to the right (when as an enemy in battle) in diamond and pearl, but in platinum onward it faces to the left. i wonder why that is?

neat worldbuilding concept that just came to mind:
A building that is actually several buildings occupying the same space, all their doors perfectly aligned, the buildings just slightly xyrd of one another
looking up, you might see three skyscrapers at once with different types of otherworldly architecture, apparently sticking out the top of a cozy ski lodge (there aren't any mountains for miles, but it has other exits) that's also a brutalist office building converted into a library

this game having multiple tracks for wild battle music really threw us off there
we just wandered into a new area, encountered a level 50 pokemon we'd never seen before when everything else nearby, including our pokemon, was level 30-ish, and special music started playing
we thought we'd found a roaming legendary just by pure chance, as in all the previous games that was the only case you'd get new wild music and roaming legendaries are nearly always found at exactly level 50
