Lagoon would be a great game, the only problem is the entire story makes zero sense and the gameplay is bad and the music is mediocre at best and the visual style is bland as hell and so if you just change literally everything about it it'd be great

harder than when we didn't get the job we were looking forward to, and that left us nonfunctional for days

because it's a thing that their faqs can't answer

our parents were going to preorder us an analogue pocket as a graduation gift

we went through the preorder process and got to the bit where you pick a shipping option and then it just broke, shipping options wouldn't load

tried several more times in other browsers, even microsoft edge, and it didn't work

then we tried again in the original browser and it worked, but by then they had sold out of the main device and we were only going to be able to order the accessories

we've been looking forward to this for months

we did everything right, had the address and credit card ready to go, made sure the money was in the account and everything, disabled all types of ad block in case that got in the way

and because of a technical glitch on *their* end, we now can't get the thing we've been looking forward to getting for ages

this was the thing we had to look forward to instead of a valve index because we wanted one of those too but can't get one

now we can't get any of the things we were really wanting to get

and it just. i don't know, we feel terrible

and they barely have any contact information on their site, all they list is instagram (don't have one and will never get one), facebook (don't have one and will never get one), and twitter (don't have one and will never get one) and if you dig through their terms and conditions you can find a support email (sent an email that I hope we managed to word well...) and a physical mailing address but still no phone number

we've never really looked into it before but now we're kinda curious, what good games were there on the game gear?

RCA's bankruptcy is really kinda tragic

the company that pioneered television and later color television too, the namesake of the common RCA plugs used for AV... and they went bankrupt because they refused to accept that the CED wasn't going to work

development of the CED technology took decades longer than anticipated and by the time it came out, laserdiscs were already available with much higher quality, not to mention video tapes

they really should have cut their losses on that one

Why did CRTs always seem to use magnetic deflection, anyway? One would think electric deflection would be a bit easier, but perhaps not.

also video out over USB would be nice since it's already doing all the work a capture device would need to do anyway
