reminded that the usual input for blocking in fighting games is to hold the direction on your control stick away from the enemy and i don't even light fighting games but that makes me mad

I'm rather annoyed at Littelfuse right now. IXYS RF made some of the best gate drivers on the market, and yet Littelfuse shuttered the entire division right after acquiring IXYS.

it just occurred to us that some ancient mythologies probably worked at least sometimes in a similar manner to the commedia dell'arte

so we're trying this immortals fenyx rising game and so far, not impressed

it's not *bad* gameplay wise but like. the menu is plastered with "news" and "access the store!", it won't even let you start the game without joining their online thingy unless you put the switch in airplane mode

also the animation is just kinda bad, but maybe i'm just comparing it to botw which was great

also the first puzzle in the game was completely unsolvable due to a glitch making the solution piece not spawn

apparently, it is based not on whether the post you're replying to is a reply or not, but on whether its cw already starts with "re: ". it did not prepend "re: " to this post's cw.

also just, the omnipresence there.... not necessarily even being the omnipresent one but just having a trusted close friend who also happens to be somewhere between 60% and 100% of the people you encounter as you go about your day in a busy city, one person who's the majority of a city's population and who you know you can trust, someone you're comfortable around, instead of having to deal with strangers all the time

i blame @sharkNserg for getting me thinking about this

I really like the idea of like, having so many bodies and having it be easy enough to make more that you basically consider your bodies disposable... no trouble with doing any sort of dangerous stuff, to the point that getting the safety equipment is more trouble than just replacing this body outright if it gets destroyed
