The Final Fantasy X remaster might be HD, but they apparently didn't adjust the animations at all so the models jerk around in ways that are probably unnoticeable single-pixel movements in the SD version (I'm too lazy to get it out and check) but are just slightly odd in HD, especially slow movements

Sometimes I wonder about how I view relationships.

It's like I don't distinguish between "good friend" and "romantic interest" very much, if at all. I either have a crush on everyone I even slightly get along with or I just want to be friends with everyone, I dunno

There's a mathematical concept called a group, which is like a set, only with an additional "group operation" that takes elements of the group as input and produces another element of the group.

When there are two such operations defined, the object is called a ring, which is not meant in the sense of circular but rather in the sense you only otherwise ever see it in "crime ring", as a synonym of group.

This amuses me enough to feel it worth sharing!

turns out, my frustration for the past several months with this mouse was due to a bit of fuzz stuck quite firmly in the optical sensor. Blowing wouldn't remove it; we had to use a canned-air duster. And now it's so smooth and unjumpy!
