So I owe you all an apology for not being around as much. After that meltdown a few days ago, I also noticed that Mastodon has been memory-leaking like crazy and bringing this already aging computer to a screeching halt.
I also have been spending time taking care of the headmates that were formerly integrated as Freyja, which is why you've been seeing those sketches.
Right now, I am limited to Tusky for interactions on here.

Remember that everyone makes mistakes, some larger than others. The important thing is to learn and grow from them, and don't fall into the trap of self-flagellation. Healing can only happen when you're kind to yourself and others.

@noyovo@rage.love It's also interesting to note that the articles talking about those incidents seem to want to instill a sense of "This could happen to you!" in order to gain sympathy for the rich and their wealth being extracted.

Politics
If there is one thing I keep noticing when talking politics with liberals, and particularly western european and american liberals, it's that they struggle to imaging how society would be structured when things change from the bottom up, ass opposed to the tradition, which is top-down.
Anarchy, socialism and communism are bottom up philosophies. It doesn't work by using the state apparatus to mandate social habits via systemic means, rather, any political structure that arises from those societies would be molded to fit the needs of the people.

Hardware scales and will improve over time. The human capacity of understanding and maintaining code does not.
There are always exceptions to the rule, but generally speaking:
clean code > performance.
