@artemis@vulpine.club @owashii@plush.city I think you both can do it. It seems to be a period of adjustment where members who just discovered each other tend to compartmentalize fronting periods in order to get a feel of where one person ends and the other begins.
And after members are more familiar, they would be more comfortable to slip in and out freely.
I recently had times when Iselyn poked in to engage in a convo with a very different perspective to mine.

@Felthry Ahh, I see. I have Cyan, Magenta and Red set as gain halos for my audio interface, and it feels very nice. Though to be fair, I have it set so that only intentional speaking and noisemaking at the microphone trips up the gain halos.
I guess magenta is still fairly valid if you can get it since it's not an intrusive colour.

@skiant General reminder that a lot of the people running the show at Kolektiva had been largely responsible for driving PlayVicious, a black-owned-and-run instance, away from the Fediverse with constant anti-black harassment.

Kolektiva is a big ass pot of open abuse and that's a pass and a block.
If your instance has open registrations and a poor moderation policy, it's a bad server in the community, no matter how much you are attached to it.
Calling for your instance to be ostracized is not a judgment on every single person on it but if you can't understand that, you deserve to sink with it. Even more so if you incite abuse against people calling your instance out.
