I started writing this out on Tumblr but I'll kind of paraphrase it here:

In Mormon culture, it's not considered "gay" or gender-nonconforming for men to be interested in theater, musicals, or singing/dancing. It's also considered admirable for men to cry, especially when experiencing strong emotions or being "moved by the Spirit." (I could write a whole other thing about the intricacies of crying within Mormonism.)

analysis here is so poorly done that non-latine white folks got suckered into believing that white latines are an oppressed class of ppl

and ur seeing these white latines be the megaphone for darker blk or indi latine folks, who are actually silenced by them.

theyre also going around being incredibly racist but theyre 'latine' so its ok.

Please do not forget that there was a Black lead instance on here for 3 yrs that decided to leave (with many friends, ily) bc they were consistently harassed and stalked for saying the kinds of things about racism/colorism/antiblackness/intersectionality that provoked self reflexion and they didn't like that.

Being a PoC doesn't mean you can't be racist, fedi and the world at large in a nutshell
